INA241A-Q1: INA241-A1-Q1

Part Number: INA241A-Q1

Hello,

my application is a typical bidirectional case with  reference at 2V.

Unfortunately the part INA241-A1-Q1 happens to have gain of 4 and adding common mode voltage (electrical bus voltage of 28V) changes output voltage dramatically.

See the test arrangement below.

Canask for some advice?

Best

Adam

  • Hello Adam,

There should not be a big change from low VCM to high VCM.  I would remove R216 and R217 a drop to a lower resistance as this could cause some errors but not much with regard to VCM changes.  Also please make sure that the inputs are not floating when comparing to the 28V.  The reason is the inputs require the current to bias the inputs and if floating this will not yield accurate results.

    Regards,
