INA128: OFFSET VOLTAGE

Part Number: INA128

Why are there two maximum values for offset voltage?

  • Hey Ryota,

I created the image below to hopefully clarify the specification. The Vos specification is RTI or referred to the input. The second stage offset voltage is accounted for. When referring the total offset voltage to the input, the second stage offset is divided by the gain.

    I hope this helps clarify.

  • Hello,

Also, to add to Chris' explanation, you may have been alluding to the fact the max has "+-50 +-500/G" which for a gain of 1, could be interpreted as having values of -550, -450, +450, and +550...  We don't actually have multiple different max. values, this should be interpreted as both negative values, or both positive values, which in the case above would give -550 and + 550.

     Hope this helps,
    Mike
