INA239: SPI mode Supported

Hi expert,

We are using INA239, and through datasheet we didn't find firm request on which mode INA239 support/suggested to use. But through the sequence form in datasheet as below, seems like it's used under mode1 (CPOL 0, CPHA 1).

But as we tested, mode 1 and mode 3 both have correct result, why's that and which one does TI recommend to use?

From Wikipedia:

The clock's idle state is low, so CPOL = 0.
The data lines change on the rising edge and are sampled on the falling edge, so CPHA = 1.

Mode 3 would violate the setup/hold times; it is not guaranteed to work.

Clemens is correct, we use SPI MODE 1 (CPOL = 0, CPHA = 1).
