If Power Supply is +3V, may i use pressure resistance is 6.3V or higher than 6.3V MLCC

    Hello Valued Engineer,

    I think you’re asking if a 6.3V rated MLCC capacitor at Cf is suitable when the power supply (Vs) is 3.3V.

    The voltage rating for Cf is only affected by two things: how much current flows through shunt and if there’s a chance for a open failure at shunt and then short from IN- to ground. There shouldn’t be a dependence on Cf voltage from the Vs.

    The rating is acceptable.
