Tool/software:
Hi team,
My customer is evaluating LM2903B, but they found the response time is too long. Their requirement is in tens of nanoseconds. Could you please help to recommend a suitable comparator?
I found TLV3202 in our portfolio but I'm not sure whether it's the most suitable device. Could you please help to double check?
Best Regards,
Rannie
What package and voltage ranges are required? The TLV3202/TLV3502/TLV3602 do not work with more than 5 V.
5V is enough as the power supply is 5V. The package is SOIC-8 and should p2p with LM2903B as the PCB is fixed.
The TLV3202 and TLV3502 are available in the SOIC package. Both have push/pull outputs.
Hi Rannie,
As Clemens suggested, TLV3202 is pin-to-pin with the LM2903B, but it has push-pull outputs. This means you can remove the output pull-up resistor on the PCB as TLV3202 has an internal pull-up FET. TLV3502 cannot be used because it is not pin-to-pin with LM2903B.
For an open drain device like the LM2903B, TLV9022 is available in the SOIC-8 package, but it has 100ns typ. propagation delay.
