Dear TIer,
I would like to design a constant current mode Buck converter and implement the current loop using the INA213 and LM258.
Could you help me review the R-C values in the circuit to ensure they are appropriate for proper operation? Thank you!
BR,
KUO
Hello Cherished Engineer,
I am looking over your question and will respond soon.
Sincerely,
Peter
Hey Kuo,
The optimal R-C (feedback pole) depends upon buck converter and the speed at which you want to correct for current overshoot. The best thing is to provide the RC at INA213 output and a feedback capacitor at LM235 so you can adjust these values during a prototype testing.
Foe the output of INA213 you would need more isolation resistance to drive a 0.1uF capacitor, probably more than 50 Ohm in order to avoid output stability.
Sincerely,
Peter
