Current Shunt suggestion for 4~20 mA measurement in 3.3V system

Dear sirs,

For customer current sensing request, which current shunt should I suggest?

Since whole system powered by 3.3V, the current shunt Vout cannot exceed 3.3V! 

My original suggestion is INA270, but I am not sure if INA270 offset voltage is ok for customer design or not?

    I would look into TIPD135 to measure such a small current.  20mA is prone to large errors with a typical current shunt monitor and a PGA based design or true instrumentation amp based design might be better.


    You might look into TIPD104 as well.  With some modification, it might suit the customer's needs.

    Thanks for your reply!

    After checked with customer, he had test with INA270 and it seems no problem for them.

    However, he had question about how to get the Cap value of filter?

    Datasheet did not have detail information about it! 

    Is there any document else about that?
