VFC320

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: VFC320

Hi, I'm interested to purchase this product but I have the following questions about it.

1)What's the input range of current and can it be as low as 1 nA?

2)Can we set a threshold voltage so after that it fires the pulse?

3)Can we set leakage current for this product?

4) Can we use this product as Integrating and Fire?

  • Hi Macan,

1)What's the input range of current and can it be as low as 1 nA? No, the VFC320 minimum input current is specified as 250 nA, and it is optimized for 250 uA input current.

2)Can we set a threshold voltage so after that it fires the pulse? I do not know of any way to do that with the VFC320.

3)Can we set leakage current for this product? I assume this is in reference to the open-collector output leakage current? The leakage current cannot be set, but it is specified for a 1 uA maximum at TA of 25 C.

    4) Can we use this product as Integrating and Fire? The VFC320 is intended for either V/F, or F/V operation. The integrator appears that it could be used stand alone, but the rest of the circuitry is designed specifically for the intended functions.
