LMV762 input common mode range - stable for one input above supply voltage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMV762

Hello,

I am planning on using the LMV762 for a line fault detection circuit.

One comparator for line break, one for short circuit detection. When e.g. a line break occurs, the short circuit comparator will see a voltage above supply voltage at ONE of its input pins, while the other one is way within common mode range. The current into the pin is limited to ~250µA.

I do not expect (and could not provoke) phase reversal.  A loss in accuracy is no problem here.

Can you confirm that under these conditions (only one input above common mode range, current limited to 250µA), no phase reversal will occur?

Thank you.
