Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2670, OPA2673, THS6212, THS3202, THS3201

Hi,

Can anyone please provide the OPA2670 Tina spice model. It will be very helpful for simulation.

Thanks and Regards,

Lokesh E

  • Hello Lokesh,
Unfortunately we do not have a model for the OPA2670. Can you please let us know more about the application and we may be able to provide more information and assist you with your design.

  • Hi Samir,

We searching for high speed  Op amp or Line driver for XDSL Application with below requirement for one of our project. Can you please suggest the suitable line driver with below requirement it will helpful.

    Requirement:-

    1. Flat Bandwidth of 100MHz at the Gain of 7.
    2. Supply Voltage +/-12 Min.
    3. Slew Rate of 9000V/us.
    4. Applicable for XDSL Application.
    5. Output Signal Power of 20dBm.
    6. Load Impedance 100 Ohm.
    7. Operating Temperature:-40 to 85C
    8. Tina Spice model.

    Regards,

    Lokesh E

  • Lokesh,
We don't have any amplifier that works at 24V supplies (+/-12V) and has a slew rate as high as you mentioned. Are you sure you need this combination? When I see your output power of 20dBm, that is only around 6Vpp which wouldn't requires 24V supplies, especially since the line driver outputs are differential. Check out the OPA2673 and the THS6212. These may meet your needs.

  • Hi Samir,

Yes, you are right. We won't require 24V(+/-12V) supply. I have selected THS3202 IC as line driver as well as Receiver. Please find the attached Tina simulation schematic. Can you please help in simulating for Full duplex operation.I have used Ideal Transformer. Is hybrid Transformer is same as Hybrid transformer? Please help us to understand the Full duplex operation.

    Regards,

  • Hello Lokesh,

The THS3201 and THS3202 are not recommended for new designs. There are certain production issues so we are recommending people to not use it in any new designs going forward. I think the OPA2673 should be sufficient for your application based on your earlier descriptions.

With regards to the hybrid I am not an expert on the subject. Here is an old application note I found from TI on the subject of hybrid circuits.
