Question on tolerance of the supply rails when operating at the maximum of +/-15V.
We power the opamp from +/- 15V supplies. The datasheet characterizes the part with Vcc at +/- 15V. It also shows maximum recommended operating supply voltage of +15V -15V. Since our +/- 15v supplies have some tolerance for output voltage setting will this create an operating problem if the supply exceeds the specified limit, say 5% or 750 mV?
Brandon,
Up to 10% typical tolerance expected.
10% makes +/-16.5V which happens to be halfway between recommend max and absolute maximum.
