LMP7732: LMP7732 and Phase Reversal

Part Number: LMP7732

Hello, someone could tell me if the LMP3372 is immune to the output phase reversal when inputs are driven over the supply rail?

(Of course limiting the input current to less than 10mA)

  • According to a past design review that tested for phase reversal, the part can accept +-500mV Vcm beyond the rails without phase reversal. Once you start getting past this you will have to worry about the ESD protection diodes becoming forward biased at around 700mV. If you know that your Vcm may get beyond this and possibly cause a violation of the absolute maximum power supply (6V), then make sure your power supply can sink current. If it cannot, then you will want to add a shunt TVS diode to ground off your power supply to shunt current if Vcm > 700mV + V+.
