Hi.
I use OPA333 as noninverting 10x amplifier. The amplifier should have its output rail including 0, or sometimes maybe a bit lower, of no more than 1mV below 0.
So, I use +4.7V and -0.7V power supply. +4.7V is from a zenor, and -0.7V from a diode like 1N4148, with resistors connected to regulated +9V and -9V to limit current.
It works well, with no line frequency noise.
The absolute characteristic of OPA333's power supply voltage is limited within 7V, and the recommended power supply rail is +5.5V.
Now, I want to directly use +5V from a 78L05, and -0.7V. The power supply rail is up to 5.7V, exceeding 5.5V.
Will OPA333 work with 5.7V, or say, up to 6V power supply?
Thanks.
