Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR111, TLV4113, TLV2473, TLC083, TLC073

I wish to make a PCB using Altium Designer.I am unable to find xtr111 in any of its libraries.Where can i find the library? Any ideas as to how i can create a PCB on Altium with xtr111.

  • Are there any other chips which are compatible in size and number of pins? i can use their foot print instead to make the PCB layout

  • Hello Juzer,

If you do not want to create your own footprint using Altium's built-in footprint creation wizard inside of the PCB libraries, then you can try to find another device that shares the same "MSOP-10 + POWERPAD" (DGQ) footprint.  Some other product offerings from the Precision Analog team in the "MSOP-10+ POWERPAD" (DGQ) package include:

    TLV4113
    TLV2473
    TLC083
    TLC073

Hopefully Altium will have the footprints available for one of those models.

  • Thanks Colin. I noticed the XTR111AIDRCT being used on the XTR111EVM and hence chose to order those samples but i dont understand the difference or on what basis do i choose between DRC & DGQ .

Does TI provide the gerber files for the XTR111EVM?

  • Hi Juzer,

The XTR111 comes in two different packages to give customers a choice between a no-lead package (DRC) and a leaded package (DGQ).  The DRC package is smaller (3mm x 3mm) due to the fact that it is a lead-less package and therefore will save some board space in the final application.  The DGQ package is slightly larger (3mm x 5mm) but is easier to handle and assemble with because of the leads.

I will try to locate the GERBER files for the XTR111 EVM and post them on this thread.

  • Hi Juzer,

you can make the footprint with the Altium Designer IPC Footprint Wizard introducing the mechanical data manually.

I already made it for the XTR111, I can send it to you if you want.

    Best Regards,
