MC1458: Alternative to MC1458

Part Number: MC1458

Hi,

can you recommend an alternative to TI's MC1458? Some newer part maybe?

Thanks

Fred

  • Hi Frederik,

what are your needs? RRIO? Low noise? Low power? Low inpur offset voltage? Low input bias current? ...

    Hi Fred,

As a general recommendation, what about the LM358A and related devices?  Most of the performance specs are similar or better and the part's online 1ku SOIC price is half of that of the MC1458.

As an alternative with higher bandwidth and slew rate, the LF353 might also work.  But, that is an older part.

As Kai has said, let us know if you have any specs that are particularly important.

    Regards,

    Daniel

    Frederick,

Another great alternative, if you need a lower voltage solution, is LM358LV.  Better performance across the board and a lower price.

Let us know if you have any further questions and/or comments.

    Daniel
