Single supply op amps

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA353, OPA350

Op amps like the OPA350 and OPA353 series are single-supply op amps (description says they are optimized for single-supply operation). Does this mean that they can be operated using +V and ground as the supply rails? Thanks

  • The amplifiers are generally designated as ‘singe supply’ when the input common mode voltage range includes and often extends beyond at least one of the power supply rails.

Most of these amplifiers can also drive their output voltage nearly to the power supply rails.
