Dear Team,
My customer is using INA219 on server application.
They would like to add more than 270 uF decoupling cap on +12V_PCIE2(V-) and +12V_RISER(V+) in below schematic.
Will it impact the value of sense current in INA219?
Please help to advise.

Hi Jim,
it's not unusual that the load and the supply are decoupled by big capacitances. So, I do not see why this should be a problem, provided you never violate the absolute maximum ratings of INA219.

Thanks for reaching out on the forum. As kai stated, placing the capacitors on the input pins should not impact your current measurement. Typically the only pin that you need to be careful with adding too much capacitance would be the output pin as that could cause instability for the part.
