AMC1200: AMC1200 high side supply missing

Part Number: AMC1200
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1301

Hi,

I would like to know,

what is the output voltage of an AMC1200 amplifier if i gave an input differential signal(with 250mV range) but the high side supply(VDD1) is missing?

what is the output voltage of an AMC1200 amplifier if i gave an input common mode signal of range 3V with high side supply of 5V ?

Does it have any fail safe output voltage like AMC1301?

Thanks in advance,

Naveen.

  • Hi Naveen,

The AMC1200 does not have any fail safe operation.  Because of that, if high side power is removed, the outputs could go to either FS+ or FS-.  The only common mode restriction is VDD1 to -160 mV.
