INA199: INA199 Output Oscillation Question

Part Number: INA199
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA210

We find the output of the INA199 will have oscillation phenomenon as like pulse waveform. But we change the solution to INA210A that the osc can be solved. Below shows the schematic and waveform. May I know what condition cause this difference? Thanks.

The CH3 is the device output.

BR,

Gary

  • Hello Gary,

Can you please provide the voltages expected (Vsupply, Vout Volatage).  On the INA199 output it goes all the way to the rail and comes down and that is not the case for the INA210 even though they are the same gain.

On another note what is this output driving.  If it is a large capacitor you may need to add an isolation resistor.

  • Hi Gary,

it's hard to help with an incomplete schematic.

I would increase C624 and, as already mentioned by Javier, add an isolation resistor of 47...100R at the output.

The blue curve, was it measured directly at the V+ pin of INA199?
