TLV3541: Voltage follwer for Active shield

Part Number: TLV3541

Dear Enginner,

Hi,

I am going to use TLV3541 to create a voltage follower. Because I want to apply Active shield (AC shield) in capacitive sensing.

Our sensor signal is duplicated by a voltage follower and the duplicated sinal by the voltage follower drives the AC shield.

Our sensor is 300mV and 4MHz and I can use maximum 5V for op-amp. It seens that the slew rate of op amp meets our requirenent.

While conducting my research, I have some question,

1. Because the sensor signal and the shield signal should be the same, I need to use a rail-to-rail op-amp for AC shield.

At the quick search section of the op-amp product, there are 4 options Rail-to-rail [ In / Out / In to V+ / In to V- ]

In that case, should I choose [In] and [out] option or [In to V+] or [In to V-] option?

2. I have 3541 op amp, so I designed a voltage follower like this

But, for some reason, the measured sensor voltage has increased and the frequency has dropped after opamp is included to the circuit.

Do you by any change know why the sensor phase has changed after implementing voltage follwer?

3. I designed the gain=1 voltage follwer, however, in some cases, the measured signal at shield is higher than the input signal so that the AC shield does not work well..

Is there any mistake in this figure?
