INA2181: Channels error matched?

Are the channels in the multi-channel devices matched in any way?

I'm trying to get two analog signals to have as similar of offset and gain errors introduced by the front end parts, and I need a current sense amplifier for 2 signals.

Ideally, having a gain differential of < 0.05% would be sufficient, although I'm unsure if that will be possible. If there are any parts that would be recommended for extremely high accuracy, it would be appreciated. The voltages are not exceptionally high, I'm just looking at current sense amps as that is the signal that I'm looking to amplify.

Hello Jordan,

I would like to suggest the INA2290. The max error is 0.1%. This does not guarantee that the gain error will match to the level you need, but I think this will help. Also the max VCM on this device is 120V.

Thanks Javier, that does seem like a good option.

I did take another perusal of your offerings, as a bi-directional amplifier is also necessary, but this could still be an option that would allow us to use only 2 chips for current sensing that would give us the best error performance.

Jordan,

Keep in mind if you are trying to use a INA2290 to measure the current in both directions there is an overload recovery time. So if one of the differential inputs goes below 0V and is negative there will be some time after it comes to the linear range to recover. I would verify in your specific application requirements.
