TLV3541: PSpice Model for TLV354x doesn't work

Hi,
I use TLV354x PSpice Model (Rev. A) SBOMA83A.ZIP (13 KB) - PSpice Model in Cadence Orcad 17.2.
If I simulate TLV354 Test Circuit.opj, it runs. If I change the power supply to non-symmetric voltages (for instance to +3.5 V / -1.5 V) and nothing else, it never runs. Not very useful for a Single Supply Op Amp.
I need a working PSpice-Model for Single Supply Operation - even better a PSpice-Model, which always works!

Hello Andree,

Currently looking into this to see what the root cause of this problem is. Single supply operation doesn't seem to have an issue within TINA-TI.

Hello Andree,

This issue isn't going to be a quick fix, I would suggest testing the model within TINA or using symmetrical supplies within the Pspice for now.

Hello Hasan,

I'm not so much interested in "testing the model" - I would like to test my whole circuit. I do this now with symmetrical supplies, but even so I have strong convergence problems during power supply ramp up. Seems it doesn't find the right bias points. And its absolutely not obvious when it works or not - it depends from minor differences (for instance changing the gain in the circuit).

These models with lots of internal controlled sources are just a hassle. Also if it isn't going quick, please fix it!

Hello Andree,

We are currently looking into this & will roll out an update to this model in the future. Unfortunately this issue will need additional investigation & so for now please work with TINA if you need to make changes to the supplies outside of the basic dual supply configuration.
