Hi,
There is PWM rejection in the block diagram of INA240.
Could you tell me the principle of this block?
Best Regards,
Kuramochi
Kuramochi-san,
The purpose of this block is to actively look for high voltage transients on the common mode of a PWM signal and help suppress these in the output of the INA240, as they are not a true differential signal, but overshoot from the rapid slewing of the common mode signal. This is important in applications such as motor control, where PWM may be used as a control method for commutation. This is discussed in depth with plots of common mode pulse in this app note.
