Hi Teams,

I would like to searching for HD-TVI with 1080p resolution ground loop isolator circuit.

Refer to ROHM BH7637G analog video isolator for the bandwidth ~30MHz, it seems using differential amplifier inside the chip. Since HD-TVI 1280x720p 60Hz video resolution bandwidth is upto 50MHz, the traditional solution is not used anymore.

Do you have the suggestion about the solution?

Many thanks,

Nick.

  • Hello Nick,

The OPA692 is a fixed internal gain of 1 V/V or 2 V/V with a bandwidth of 280Mhz, 225MHz with power supplies up to 12V. I would recommend this part as a replacement.

There is also the OPA355, OPA357, OPA358, OPA360, OPA361, OPA362. The OPA35x series go up to 5.5V supply, and are higher than 50MHz in bandwidth, but do not have an internal gain set. The gain will have to be set by using external resistors. They have better output voltage range and common-mode rejection ratio than BH7637G. The OPA36x series go up to 3.3V supply, are higher than 50MHz in bandwidth, and have internal gain set to 2V/V or 5.2V/V. The differential gain/phase error is the same to slightly higher , but SNR is the same as BH7627G. The OPA36x series also has additional features such as 2-pole reconstruction filter level shifter, and shutdown control.

We also have video amplifiers with integrated multiplexor at the output of a fixed gain amplifier such as LMH6570 and video amplifiers with differential output such as the TL592B and UA733.

    Thank you,

    Sima
