THS4032: Opamp similar to THS4032 with enable/shutdown pin

Hi Team,

We would like to request your help regarding the customer's inquiry below.

I am looking op-amp similar to ths4032 but with enable bit. It doesnt need to be exact to ths4032, at least similar but with enable bit. Initially I look at THS3115 and I exited, however when I read further, this is current feedback and I need good DC accuracy for ADC testing. Here is my use case for the opamp

Supply : -3 to 9V

Type : Voltage Feedback for DC accuracy

BW : <50Mhz

MUST use shutdown/enable pins. This pin will be tied to voltage pin to control.

Noise : <6nV/sqrt

The opamp will be used as unity gain Single input SARADC.

Looks like the OPA690 will meet your requirements, or the OPA2690 if you need the dual package.

The OPA2690 is one choice, it was a part we did at BurrBrown with a high transconductance input stage - giving much higher noise than necessary but great slew rate. A more typically input stage with lower noise and lower slew rate rate, might be the OPA2889

Hi Michael,

Looking at the datasheets, I see an input voltage noise of 5.5 nV/sqrtHz for the OPA2690 and a figure of 8.4 nv/sqrtHz for the OPA2889, which is outside the spec requested here.

And I was actually thinking of the OPA2890 - these are both very lower power devices - I tend not to use the OPA2690 unless that high slew rate is required.

You might also consider the OPA2625

And actually that OPA2625 does not support 12V total supply,

Dual with disable is actually a bit rare, that OPA2690 probably is the best part if the lowest power is not of interest.
