OPA569: Voltage follower with current sink capability of 150mA

Hi Team,

Our customer is looking for a voltage follower with current sink capability of 150mA that will be driven by a single 5V supply voltage, has an input voltage of 1.6V and available in big package for manual soldering. The customer found the OPA548 which has good characteristics but it is for high voltage. I have checked our product lines and found OPA569, TLV4111 and TLV4110. Can you please confirm if these devices fit the customer's requirements.

Hi Danilo,

I did find the same OPAmps. But for manual soldering only the TLV4110/1/2/3 seem to be suited.

What is the load of OPAmp? Any capacitive load? To find a suited snubber (see figure 27 of datasheet) a schematic would be helpful.

Hi Danilo,

As Kai pointed out, we'd like to know more about your buffer configuration.

1. Max. Operating Temperature (worst case)

2. Op Amp's Load Type, value and BW requirements.

3. Vout voltage swing, unless the application is using the op amp to as a current sourcing/sinking LDO @150mA.

Regarding to hand soldering, you can solder DGN package manually without too much difficulties. This is likely the package the application is required.

Hey Danilo, look at the OPA2677 which is a dual CFA which has your current requirement on single 5V supply. For unity gain, you will need a feedback R of about 600ohm for stability.
