OPA569: A cheaper analogue

Part Number: OPA569
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2677, TLE2301

Hello.

We chose this op amp as a sine amplifier of 300 kHz, 1.25 V amplitude, 450 mA current.

But its price is too high. Are there cheaper IC`s for such a task?

  • Hello Sergey,

There isn't a lower cost, drop-in for the OPA569. If you have some flexibility in terms of package, electrical specifications and supply voltage levels there may be some options that are about half the price of the OPA569.

The TLE2301 is capable of up to 1 Amp output current, but its minimum supply voltage is rated at +/-4.5 V (9V total). It has the bandwidth and slew rate to handle the intended application. Then, TI's High-Speed Amplifiers group has the OPA2677 with 0.5 Amp output and high bandwidth and slew rate. It is a dual op amp with a minimum supply of +/-2.5 V. It may be marginal in terms of output current over the full temperature and supply range.

You would need to review their datasheets to make sure they meet all the applications needs.
