Hi team,
I would like to know the saturatoin voltage in our usecase.
Condition:
Vcc is +5V and +12V
Isink is 8mA
Tj is full range
Could you provide me with the data in our conditions?
I hope that it is less than 700mV.
Best regards,
Tomoaki Yoshida
Hi Tomoaki,
section 6.6 of datasheet says, that VOL can be up to 1.5V at 6mA. So, at 8mA VOL can even be higher.
A lower VOL can only be achieved with an additional external transistor stage.
Kai
Hello Tomoaki-san,
Please see Figure 3 in the datasheet, "Output Saturation Voltage".
This graph shows the output low voltage over current over temperature. Supply voltage makes very little difference.
So from the graph, 8mA is about 250mV at 125C, well under 700mV. I would avoid currents higher than 8mA, as you start to get into the current limiting range and VOL will start to vary widely.

Paul Grohe
