Hi,

I am using AMC1311 for DC High Voltage measurement, i need to calculate the differential voltage (VoutP and VoutN) and am using equation of the line (Y=MX+C) to calculate the differential voltages.

Please confirm the values what i have consider in Y-axis is exactly correct. (2,7 Volts , 1,44 Volts & 0,1Volts)

Hi Kishore,

Yes your values are correct.

Input voltage before clipping is specified to be typically 2.516V.

Common-mode output voltage is specified to be min 1.39V typ 1.44V and max 1.49V.

Fail-safe output voltage is typ –2.6V and max of –2.5V.

Using this typical common-mode output voltage and the typical fail-safe output voltage of -2.6V, I would expect your upper bound to be 2.74V and the lower bound to be 0.14V.

Do we have any specific equation to calculate the differential voltage (Vout_P and Vout_N) apart for the method of calculating with equation of straight line?

No, the straight line calculation is sufficient.
