PCM3060: Recommended external mute circuits are required

Can you let me know the functionality needed from the external mute circuit?

The ZEROL and ZEROR  control signals indicate when there is zero audio data. This can be directly used to indicate to a SOC or Microcontroller that there is no audio present. It could also be used as an example to control a relay to disconnect a loudpeaker from a power amplifier.

The specific circuit connected to the outputs therefore is determined by what is intended. We can suggest an interface circuit if we know what the customer likes to do with these outputs.

Thank you for your reply. My customer faces unwanted pop noise when enabling the reset although the external mute circcuit is implemented on the circuit. Do you see any causes of this pop noise and any ideas to remove it? I adviced him to use internal mute function(Soft-mute control), but he doesn't seem to change the software in PCM3060.

Also where is the pop noise being measured? There is a lot going on in this mute circuit and identifying where the pop is first being observed is important for debugging.
