TAS5713: TAS5713 PLL error issue

My KMM customer use TAS5713 and meet the audio output is not stable. sometime is no output.

so they found the register 0x02(ERROR STATUS REGISTER)，value is 0x40 (PLL autolock error).

any comment for this issue?

Hi Eric,

TAS5713 needs to do 'Trim oscillator (write 0x00 to register 0x1B)' during start-up. Please help to check required start up sequency:

yes, customer do 'Trim oscillator (write 0x00 to register 0x1B)' during start-up but issue still there.
Customer modify the register START/STOP PERIOD REGISTER (0x1A) from 0x0a to 0x15 then the issue was gone but the side effect is the output is delay about 4~5 seconds. original 0a is 2 seconds. any comment?

Hi Eric,

Just re-check the schematic. In order to make sure the signal integration of MCLK, could you remove parallel resistance 10k (PR3), which might produce unbalanced rise and fall times. We recommend adding 50ohm impedance matching resistance, and even RC （50ohm + 10pF).

Regarding the 0x1A register changing, could you help to provide the PWM waveform based on 0x15?
