PCM6340-Q1: Unused GPIO1 to 3

Part Number: PCM6340-Q1

Hi team,

I don't use GPIO1-3 and would like to keep them Low.

1. Could you advise the recommended unused GPIO termination and register settings?

- just disable GPIOs are OK or need external pull down?

2. If I set Page:0x0/Addr:0x21/D[7:4] = 0d, D[2:0] setting is still active?

3. If I set Page:0x0/Addr:0x21/D[7:4] = 0d, Page:0x0/Addr:0x26/D[7] setting is active or ignored?

regards,

  • Hi Shinji-san,

GPIO1 is configured as an interrupt that is driven active low and weak high by default. Since it is weak high it should not cause any problems if this is pulled low, but I would recommend disabling the GPIO in register 0x23 if you do not intend to use it. The drive setting will not apply if the GPIO is disabled.

Other GPIOs are disabled by default. You can leave these floating or tie to ground if you want.

    Best,

    Zak
