LMK01801BEVAL: SPI MODE not work

Hi,

I just bought LMK01801 evaluation board. I use the setting as page 7 in LMK01801 evaluation board data sheet (https://reurl.cc/de4yaz).

I connect USB2ANY to PC and LMK01801EVAL. A 100MHz signal source is connected to CLKin0*. CLKoutX is connected to oscilloscope by a cable with SMA connector.

But nothing is shown in the oscilloscope. Could anyone give me some suggestion, I will appreciate it.

Hello Libby,

Did you follow all the other quick start guide too (p. 8-13)? Attempt to set up the default first (by following the guide) and if that does not work, please come back and let me know and I will further help you.

Hi Andrea,

I have tried the steps in page8-13. But it still doesn't work. When I change the setting in TICS software (powerdown some output), the current shown in power supply changes as well. However, there is nothing at the output. Could you give me some advice?

Hi Libby,

I was able to check your case on bench. It seems that SYNC0/1_POL_INV bit causing the outputs to stay low. I need to look up into its proper working but default configuration enables this which caused the outputs to stay low.

I have attached a working tics pro file here for you to try. It should shows the outputs
