We would like to use RTC, BQ32002 in our products. We also use a multiple-output clock generator, which can generate clock frequencies from 5 MHz to 200 MHz. The BQ32002 requires a crystal oscillator. I was wondering if I could use the clock generator to generate the required clock frequency and connect it to OSCI (pin 1) of the BQ32002 and leave OSCO (pin 2) to float. If so, what would be the maximum frequency that I could give to the RTC?
