LMK04832-SP: CLKin1 pins

Hello,

my customer is using LMK04832-SP in a new project and has the following question, which is not clarified in datasheet:

The datasheet https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lmk04832-sp.pdf?ts=1683041926918&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FLMK04832-SP page 85, 9.1.1 section, 9.1 table says that CLKin2 and CLKin2* can be tied to gnd with a 1Kohms resistor or left floating in case not used.

Since my customer will not use CLKin1 and CLKin1* can they consider same instruction as per above for CLKin3 and CLKin2* ?

Hi Raphael,

I believe the same instructions should apply for CLKin1/CLKin1*. I have notified our jitter cleaner expert for confirmation but he is out of the office for the rest of the week.

For the unused input CLKin pins (CLKin0/1), you can left floating.
