LMH1983: Details requested for "Reserved" PLL1 mode in register 0x05

In the device control register, address 0x05, the setting 11'b is shown as "reserved" for the PLL1_Mode. Can you explain the effect of using the LMH1983 in "reserved" mode. Someone on our team happened upon the fact that with one of our clock sources, the LMH1983 only locks when PLL1_Mode is set to "reserved." Thanks.

Hi There,

I don't know, no document describes these bits in details.

PLL1 will only lock to the video reference input if PLL1_Mode is 0x01 (Genlock mode). 0x00 and 0x10 are not a closed-loop PLL configuration, these configurations won't lock to the video reference.
