LMX2820EVM: Part that cannot not be operated issue

Tool/software:

For this part, we purchased through TI store but we have problem with operation.

Power is not supplied to the board properly.

When 3.3V is applied to the EVM board using the power supply, it changes to CC mode and overcurrent appears to flow.

The EVM board appears to be short-circuited, but upon visual inspection, there appears to be no short-circuit.

Could you please check what might be the cause of this issue and resolution to resolve this issue?

Can you try again with the power supply current limit set to 1 A?

Hello Noel

As per your request we tried with current of the power supply set to 1A and it does not work.

When we measured resistance of the power supply with multimeter, we found that it was measured about 40 ohms.

Hi Daniel,

I don't know what could possibly be the problem. Since it is not working out-of-the-box, please contact Customer Service to replace a new one.
