Tool/software:
HI,
We are trying to program CDCE925PWR clock chip using CDCEL9XXPROGEVM but when we connect the programmer it gives an error in device manager "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
We installed the clock pro software (https://www.ti.com/tool/CLOCKPRO#downloads)
Operating system ==> Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Joshil
Joshil,
Please try the steps listed in this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/clock-timing-group/clock-and-timing/f/clock-timing-forum/1169622/cdcel9xxprogevm-driver-installation-problem
Thanks,
Kadeem
Hi Kadeem, Thanks for you recommendation. Now device manager looks OK but the device is not getting detected. I tried CDCE925PWR & CDCE913PWR. In both cases the result was same

Joshil
Joshil,
Does this still occur if you connect the board through USB, then afterwards start the Clock Pro software (or the opposite, start Clock Pro and then connect the board) before opening the Programmer?
Are the jumpers connected according to the instructions below?
Is the device appropriately positioned in the socket?
Thanks
Kadeem
Hi Kadeem, I am connecting the USB cable to the programmer after the programmer is detected in device manager the clock pro software is executed. Below is the jumper setting used
The pin 1 is aligned see below picture
Please let me know if I missed anything.
Regards,
Joshil
Joshil,
Please try using the upper two pins for J5. There is a note in the User's Guide that states that older boards have incorrect silkscreen marking for J5. The two J5 pins to connect should be the ones closest to J2.
Thanks,
Kadeem
Hi Kadeem,
Yes you are correct. After changing the jumper setting the device got detected
.
