TPS3899: From TI part TLV840MADL13DBVR change to TPS3899DL13DSER schematic review

Hi TI team,

I have recently completed validation of the circuit using the TLV840MADL13DBVR, and it is working correctly. I want to reduce the PCB area. Therefore, I plan to replace the TLV840MADL13DBVR with the TPS3899DL13DSER。

Please help me review the schematic of TPS3899DL13DSER and point out any critical considerations or precautions。

Hi Max,

The schematic with TPS3899DL13DSER looks good, except for the t_D calculation. The equation is given in section 6.3.2 of the TPS3899 datasheet is:

So the typical t_D will be 65.55ms, not 61.97ms.

Thank you for your reminder and correction。

I would like to confirm whether a few positions in the attachment need to be corrected to 65.55 ms when the CTR is 0.1µF。
