LMK61E2-125M: I2C Pull up resistor supply voltage selection when interfacing between 3.3V slave and 1.8V master

Hi,

The LMK61E2 is supplied with 3.3V. It will be programmed from Xilinx Kintex 7 FPGA  that operate at 1.8V logic.

So SCL and SDA is pulled up using 4.7K resistors to meet I2C standards.

Q1.Is it possible to connect these pull up resistors to 1.8V logic or do we have to go for 3.3V pullup?
