is correct?

Do I have problem if I use a pad layout of 1.41 x 0.89?

Hi Angelo,

I think the datasheet is correct and after all, it is just a recommendation. For this part, there is no restriction on the land pattern. You can have your own land pattern as long as pcb assembly is good.
