I want to connect the CLKOUT to OSCIN.

instead of LVDS driver it is LKM04616 4mA HSDS.

Can I use the attached termination and coupling?

Hello Shlomi,

The attached termination and coupling will work. Datasheet lists Vodpp as about 960mV, which exceeds input Vidpp minimum of 400mV. Also, the slew rate can be calculated from the 20% to 80% rise time as 960mV * 60% / 0.15ns = 3.84V/ns, which is an acceptable input slew rate. So this configuration is fine.

Hi Derek,

How you calculated the 960mV?

4mA x 100ohm = 0.4v , vpp is 2 x 0.4 = 0.8v. Am I missing something?

Shlomi,

Table 7.10 in the datasheet specifies Vod and rise/fall time for HSDS 4mA. I know we call it "HSDS 4mA", but the actual current is probably closer to 4.8mA.
