CDCLVC1106: Load Capacitance

Hi Mark,

              Are you referring to load capacitance which the devices can drive? If so, the characterization for the datasheet would be done for 2 pF/5 pF load. Do note, all the AC specifications deteriorate with increasing load cap. Have you taken a look at our newest P2P buffer LMK1C1104 ()

Thank you for responding Badarish, the customer is looking for a 50pF load capacitance. The LMK1C1104 may not also fulfill it.

Hi Mark,

              Can you tell me what is the frequency of operation? What are the key requirements of the customer apart from the 50 pF loading? As i mentioned previously, its not that our device can't support 50 pF load, but that with typical CMOS outputs, the ac characteristics like prop delay, rise time, fall time and jitter are dependent on the output load. We just need to make sure our device can meet the customer specifications. 

Hi Badarish, the customer is looking for the 1:6 fanout buffer.

         I understand that. Do they have any other requirements like output rise time, fall time, propagation delay, jitter? What is their operating frequency?
