TPL5010: few clarification on DS

hi,

just need confirmation my understanding on this device is correct.

After the POR (after 420msec typ.) it will need one DONE pulse to start counting: this to be sure the CPU is out of POR/RESET as well (fig.9).

If it does not receive the first done pulse after the boot of the device, it will not start counting. Correct?

Hi Vincenzo,

After POR and resistance measurement, the TPL5010 begins counting whether a DONE edge is seen or not. Note that Figure 9 shows the time interval of POR+measurement+t_IP. If no DONE pulse is received from the microcontroller, the timer will toggle RSTn low and begin counting another interval, as in normal operation.
