CDCE913: Cannot read register throuh I2C ?

Hi,

I have problem at reading out registers of CDCE913 via I2C interface. I have checked the I2C signals in Oscilloscope and it looks correctly to me, however I received a NotAcknowledge at the end of read operation. Could you please help me to point out what are not correctly done?

Hier an example of reading Register 0x02. The CDCE913 component has not been configured and has default configuration.

Hello Bien,

This sequence looks correct, timing look to be at 100kHz and within specifications.

According to TI App Note here this looks to be operating fine. Although the datasheet does not specify NACK or ACK in these programming sequences.

Thanks for the reply.

I found the mistake and it was the byte/block read/write bit in Command Code. By default it has value of 0 which indicates a block read while I wanted to have a byte read.
