ADS9120: Basic question about input signal

Part Number: ADS9120

Hi,

I would like to ask you some basic questions as below.

1) FSR = DR = +/- Vref

    To secure max DR, we should use Vref/2 (=VCM) as mid point of input opamp(+V), correct?

2) In case of using "Unipola"

    Will you tell me merits and demerits when we use "unipola" input?

    My understanding is,

      * Merits

        - Opeamp number to drive input is just one. (= input circuit is simple, power consumption is lower, etc)

      * Demerits

        - Cannot remove "common-mode noise"

        - DR becomes half(1/2), that is to say, "0 - Vref" range. (output code is  "0 - 7FFFF" )

     How about my idea?

3) Input circuit in case of unipola use

    When we use "unipola", how should we design input circuit?

    Just connect "VIN_M" pin to GND, OK?

    Or something register using is better? Or connect to 1/2Vref via register??

I would appreciate your advice to understand well.

Best Regards,
