Hi  ,

I used ads131e08 in my power analyzer project .  But  for custom rate ,  RDATA command or Start pin manual controls need very big settling time .

Normaly continuous reading there is no any time delay ...

Forexample , in 64 kSample mode ,  We can sample maximum 8 - 10 ksample by manually ??? Other rates very slowly ...

Is there any methot for decrease settling time ?  anybody know ?

Why every manual convert start need to adjust filters pga and others ?  it must be on start and one time ???

    Hi ekaranik!

    I'm not sure that I understand your questions regarding the ADS131E08. You can use the device in continuous conversion mode, in which case you do not have to issue RDATA commands. At initial startup of the device (through START pin or command) there is some initial settling time which can't be avoided.
