I'd like to use a DLP for a mid-far IR spectrometer. Can someone please provide the spectral reflectance of the DLP itself, without cover slip or other intervening materials provided it can be sold this way? If the top layer is Au, Ag, other metal it may have good reflectance well into the IR.

The DLP2010NIR and DLP4500NIR DMDs can support NIR wavelength up to 2500 nm, The DLP650LNIR is designed for 800nm to 2000nm. We do not have any DMD which can operate beyond that.

I guess you mean the windows on top of DMD. Please note that this window is an integral part of device. It is needed to keep an environment where mirrors can operate reliability. The mirror surface is Aluminum, and the windows have AR coating for the wavelength.

Would it be possible to buy a DMD without a window? I understand the issue about contamination and it makes sense.

Hello Patrick,

We do not sell DMD without window. It is built with windows even before packaged. Moreover, it will not last even few seconds in open environment.
