DS110DF410: A question about the data rate of the DS110DF410

Part Number: DS110DF410

Dear Expert

I have a question about the data rate of DS110DF410, I would like to consult the original factory, thank you!The details are as follows:

1. If the data output mode is set to RAW Data, the CDR circuit is not used.Whether the input and output rates are still limited to 8.5Gbps to 11.3Gbps and their sub-rates of 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8.If there is no limit, then what is the input-output rate range at this point?

  • Hello Gabriel,

The input and output rates are still limited to 8.5 Gbps to 11.3 Gbps and their sub-rates.

    Regards,

    Kia Rahbar

  • Adding to Kia's feedback. The DS110DF410 may be operated at any data rate at or below 11.3Gbps while implemented in CDR bypass mode. The caveat is that retimer jitter performance per its datasheet is not guaranteed when its CDR bypass mode is enabled. Empirically, TI has found that jitter performance in CDR bypass mode for divide by ratios of 2,4 and 8 should still be good enough to comply with applicable interface standard specs (e.g. Ethernet, Fibre Channel.)

    Thanks,
