DP83848J: How to deal with pin 34 if using DP83848 in half-duplex mode?

Customer would like to confirm how to deal with pin 34 (RX_ER/MDIX_EN) if using DP83848 half-duplex mode. Could it be left float? Thank you.

Hello,

If the MAC the customer is using needs it then it needs to be connected. Also they should be okay with the default strap setting for this pin if left floating.

Thank you. You mean it is required to use the default setting of MDIX ENABLE for pin34 if left floating, right?
